So my bud Lucky Chance has been getting some blog space lately, and for a good reason. He is nuts & I like to photograph people who are nuts.
The latest invention is the ‘Death Swing’ where Lucky has taken the established Hanging Rock rope swing & mixed it up a bit… with the subtraction of the standard tying into the rope & the addition of a BASE rig. He just hangs onto the loops of a bunny-ears knot & voila!
I got the call to come photograph this insanity just hours before it went down & I only had a scouting camera handy (with a single 17-35mm lens, the rest of the kit was in the studio in the opposite direction!) but good photos or not, I absolutely couldn’t miss seeing this for myself.

Mate, that was awesome, incredible what some people get up to in their spare time…..
